Intel's Make it Wearable competition in 2014 inspired hundreds of entrepreneurs to dream up new, exciting ideas for wearables. I was asked to be a mentor for the competition finalists. As a mentor, I played an active role guiding teams to refine their product plans, business plans, positioning, messaging, and presentation. I am now the driver at Intel for bringing a subset of these finalists to market. I am supporting Nixie, the first wearable camera that can fly, who won the competition, Snowcookie, which makes you a better, safer, and connected skier. and Arc Pendant, which guides your activity with haptic feedback. Its exciting to be embedded with these start-ups, enabling new ideas to flourish. See Nixie on stage at CES with Intel's CEO Brian Krzanich, and the NBC video of Nixie's founder, and my brief endorsement at CES 2015.
